This past Sunday, I made an afternoon drive up to Williamsburg VA. I decided to go to Merchant Square. Merchant Square is located in Colonial Williamsburg; filled with shops and small local businesses. Shops for clothing, gifts, bakeries, candy, restaurants, bookstores, and jewelry are among the local businesses that patrons can go through as they walk the old brick streets. The Main street is blocked off to cars. There is a parking garage and street parking. When I went, they had an ice skating rink in the middle where families decided to spend their sunny day.
Last weekend I decided to go get a massage. After a lot yelp-ing, I decided on Body Shoppe Spa in Yorktown. I scheduled it for Saturday. I drove up to an older strip mall on a very icy day in Virginia. The outside is nothing spectacular but just like most hole in the wall places, it was a pleasant surprise. After filling out necessary paperwork, I was escorted back to a large room by the massage therapist. The room had a private bathroom with two massage tables. There was music playing and the lights down low. The room looked something like this:
